The Best Way to Make Your Day Light & Positive

Many of you start a new day on the leftovers of yesterday right? It means you keep the thoughts, what someone said or did, in mind and begin your fresh day on the old note. If you want to make your days light and positive; you have to work on yourself consciously.

What do you do?

Before you start doing something to make your days light and happy, you have to make a list of things that you do. You have to make a list of all the activities that dominate your days. For example:

  • Do you think too much every day?
  • Do you go through the profiles of friends and feel negative?
  • Do you stay in bed for too long?

These are only a few of the many things that people do on regular basis. It was not at all an exhaustive list. The point is once you know what you do and what you need to do; there will be a complete transformation.

What should you do?

Since you have made your personal list of things that do dominate your days, now is the time to bring the change.  The ‘to do’ list will depend on what you already do. However, there are 5 best ways to make your days light and happy.

  1. Plan it

Once you have a plan for your day, nobody can steal your peace of mind or make you feel stressed. Certainly abrupt moments can modify your plan but having a plan on your mind will definitely make your day more productive and less stressful.

  1. Wake up early

Whether you are an office goer, student or an unemployed person, it does not matter. What matters is how long you stay in bed every day. You should try waking up early in the morning and this will turn around your day for better. You not just feel good about yourself but you attract positivity too.

  1. Don’t forget to Appreciate

Appreciation does not cost you any penny right? Since that is the case why not just take out at least five minutes in a day to feel grateful for what you have? Don’t forget to appreciate the roof you have, loving parents, good income, a fancy car, a stylish gadget, dashing clothes, an affectionate pet and so on. These are the things that, with time, we start taking for granted. Once you appreciate what you have, you will surely feel good about everything and especially you. Once you feel good, your day becomes lighter and pleasant.

  1. Learn a new thing

It might sound cliché to you but it is true. Learning even a bit of something in a day can give you the spark. You instantly feel good when you learn anything new. If you don’t agree try it yourself and you might get impressed by the abrupt change in your day. For example, if you don’t know how to make coffee, try making it; and once the coffee is ready, you will feel on cloud nine for sure! It is not about how big or small thing you learn; it is about the practice of learning.

  1. Treat yourself with warmth

This is a thing that many of you forget to do on regular basis. Why should you feel special about yourself only on your birthday? Come on, birthday is just a date. You should be thankful and happy about yourself every single day. Once you start loving yourself and treating yourself with small surprises or rewards; you will twofold the productivity of your days and your routine will get light and happy.
